About the practice

John-Erik Joost

Quality Assurance & Metrology Consultant

Glattpark Opfikon, Switzerland

John-Erik Joost has spent over fifteen years in the measuring rooms of Swiss and German precision manufacturers, working his way from machinist to head of quality assurance. He programs and validates coordinate measuring machines across every major platform, builds and audits first article inspection reports (EMPB/FAI), and is AUKOM-certified in coordinate metrology. He works independently to give precision manufacturers something the machine vendors cannot: vendor-neutral verification that their measurements actually conform to the standards their drawings reference.
